Cover Reveal!
Updated: May 15, 2021

And, no, I (unfortunately) do not mean "cover reveal for Bound and Determined," although that will come. Eventually. Hopefully. Lord willing.
Ahem.
Nay, my good fellows, my readers and followers, my family and friends--I mean "cover reveal for The Nature of a Lady," which is a historical romance by Roseanna M. White and is sure to be a lovely treat! Y'all know I adore Mrs. White and her detectable stories, and of course this particular one should be no different--but do you know what intrigues me the most, about whatever it is that I'm reading?
The cover.
Aye, I'm one of those judgmental folk who judge books by their covers. It's quite the common practice, you know, and only slightly frowned upon, by those who doth not read, obviously because of their own lack of knowledge concerning the artistic traits of book covers. In other words, there's nothing wrong with book cover judging.
Which is why I bid you judge this cover:

I mean, isn't that just ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS?
Just look at it.

Ahem.
We've come to terms with the fact that this cover is tremendously beautiful and that I'm quickly succumbing to cover-fever.
What about the book?
The Nature of a Lady is the first in the Secret of the Isles trilogy, which will debut in the summer of 2021. Here's the blurb:
1906 – Lady Elizabeth "Libby" Sinclair, with her love of microscopes and nature, isn’t exactly a hit in society. She flees to the beautiful Isles of Scilly for the summer...and stumbles into the dangerous secrets left behind by her holiday cottage’s former occupant, also called Elizabeth, who mysteriously vanished. Oliver Tremayne—gentleman and clergyman—is determined to discover what happened to his sister, and he’s happy to accept the help of the girl now living in what should have been Beth’s summer cottage…especially when he realizes it’s the curious young lady he met briefly two years ago, who shares his love of botany and biology. But the hunt for his sister involves far more than nature walks, and he can’t quite believe all the secrets Beth had been keeping from him. As the two work together, along with Libby’s maid—his cousin—they find ancient legends, pirate wrecks, betrayal, and the most mysterious phenomenon of all: love.
Did I read that right? Pirate wrecks, you say? Well, I'm hooked already!
