Guess What!

I'm doing more blogging than usual!!! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜โคโค

Just kidding! Well, I mean, I'm still blogging a wee bit more--this makes my third post this month--but my real good news is everyone's favorite--or at least my favorite--BOOK NEWS!

So...I mentioned a few days ago that I was working on a fun Christmas novella. (I always write Christmas stories in the spring and summer. ??? ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿคจ) Well, after exactly two weeks of off-and-on writing in between my Julie Lessman Kindle sessions, I'm finished!

I was thinking I might would publish it sometime around Christmas, but since I'm too excited about it now and because November/December will probably end up being the release of Bound and Determined, I'm having my new e-novella, The Gift of Her Heart published NOW! It'll be released on Amazon in approximately 36 hours, for the cheapest they'll let me--which is $0.99. Trust me, I've tried to figure out how to set the price to zilch, but, for us KDP authors, there's nothing. zilch. nada.

Anyway...

You are the first to know! And, if you've read just Held Captive

or both HC and Prisoner at Heart and remember my minor characters Christopher "Kit" Arlington--Xavier's step-cousin--and Chloe Wellington--Xavier's half-sister--then you're all set for The Gift of Her Heart.

(And, yeah, I know it's a boring title, but it was originally called Kit & Chloe, so it could be worse. And, yeah, the cover may not be all that fancy, but it was free and it's a thumbnail. Get over it.)

It's only around 18,000 words long, so it's a quick, light read and not too Christmasy at all--so if you want to enjoy it now or later, then have at it. I suggest, however, reading Held Captive first, or else nothing will make sense. In which case, my debut novel, HC, is only $5.99 on Kindle!

Anyway...

Thought I'd let y'all--assuming I have more than one person reading--know about my new novella, which should hopefully tide you over until Bound and Determined is finally finished, edited, and released!

Remember, The Gift of Her Heart, boring title, plain cover. Shouldn't be too hard to find! ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‹
